Title: The Nutritional Characteristics of the Hypotensive WASHOKU-modified DASH Diet: A Sub-analysis of the DASH-JUMP Study
Publication Year: 2018
Journal: Curr Hypertens Rev
Primary study aim: The researchers developed a WASHOKU-modified DASH diet known as DASH-JUMP. They previously reported the hypotensive effect of the DASH-JUMP diet in Japanese participants with untreated high-normal Blood Pressure (BP) or stage 1 hypertension. In this sub-analysis, they prospectively assessed the nutritional characteristics of the DASH-JUMP diet.
