“There are impactful things we can do now, as individuals and clinicians and as organizations, to move the needle on advancing health equity, which means health for all people.  ACLM’s HEAL Initiative Scholarship Program is one example of doing exactly that.”

Marsha-Gail Davis, MD

“The greatest feeling of empowerment…comes not simply from awards or recognition but from a deep sense that someone believes in you.”

Roshini Srinivasan, ACLM Scholarship Recipient

Other ways to give

If donating by check, please make payable to American College of Lifestyle Medicine, mailing to P.O. Box 6432, Chesterfield, MO 63006.

Leaving a legacy gift to the American College of Lifestyle Medicine is an impactful way to honor your commitment to lifestyle medicine, and make a difference in the future of health care. If you would like to make a legacy gift, you will need to have a will or life insurance policy established and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine named as one of your beneficiaries. You may also consider donating appreciated securities and mutual funds by electronic transfer. For more information please contact support@lifestylemedicine.org

A legacy gift will also reduce your tax burden now and in the future. If you own stocks that have increased in value since their purchase, you can benefit by using them to make a charitable gift to the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.  You can deduct the fair market value of the securities (held for at least one year and a day) and pay no capital gains tax.

Supporting ACLM’s mission by giving a gift of stock or appreciated securities can have an outsized impact while providing potentially significant tax advantages. For more information on how to donate stock or appreciated securities, please contact partnerships@lifestylemedicine.org.

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a powerful way to support the field of lifestyle medicine while enjoying potential tax benefits. When you contribute cash, appreciated securities, or other assets to a DAF, you’re generally eligible for an immediate tax deduction. The funds can then grow tax-free, and you can recommend grants to nearly any IRS-qualified public charity, amplifying your impact on advancing health and well-being through lifestyle medicine. To learn more about how to support ACLM through your DAF, please contact partnerships@lifestylemedicine.org
