Dr. Blecenda has more than 30-years experience in health and wellness field; 18 years at the Adventist Medical Center-Manila and the rest in communities. She designs and redesigns wellness programs for business companies and communities in the Philippines. She is passionate in helping people adopt healthy living and was blessed to receive an UNSUNG FILIPINO HERO AWARD.
She is a Doctor in Public Health, Master of Public Health, Licensed Nutritionist-Dietitian, Diplomate of International Board of Lifestyle Medicine and a Fellow of American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Adventist University of the Philippines and Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies. She is a faculty of FAME Academy and American Academy of Family Medicine. She authored several acclaimed health books. In 2010, she brought CHIP in Philippines and South-East Asia. She founded the Asian Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, Inc. (AILM), in 2015. AILM provides Lifestyle Medicine programs to low-income people. In 2017, Blecenda was part in forming the ACLM Community-Engaged Lifestyle Medicine Programs. She is very much dedicated to serve the low-income communities.
