I am unable to successfully launch my eBook or lectures. What do I do?
One or a combination of the following suggestions should resolve the issue for you:
- Switch to the preferred browser, Google Chrome. Firefox also seems to work well for many people. The eBook will not work on Microsoft Edge.
- You will indeed need to allow popups on your browser. That is, turn off your popup blocker.
- Clearing all browsing history, cookies, and cached items will give the browser a clean start. Often there is a cached item that is throwing a wrench in the works.
The eBook will not work on Microsoft Edge.
Why is my course not showing up as 100% complete?
Please go to your Course Home where you will find an outline of the course. Every line should have a green check mark next to it, except for the eBook.
Lectures will remain unchecked until you view every slide. Within the lectures, you will need to click through the slides completely. Start at the beginning and click through the slides at your own pace. Please let the last slide run to completion and hit Next.
There is also a note in your course that says that the Postwork Survey must be completed in order to complete the overall course. This survey will automatically pop up when you fully complete the course.
How can I view my eBook and my course at the same time?
The eBook can be open in one tab while the course can be open in another tab so you can have reference/access to the eBook while completing sections of the course.
Open your Learning Center in two tabs on your browser. In one tab, open the eBook (eBook is a pop-up window but the browser tab is still being used for the eBook). In the second tab, you will be free to move around your Learning Center.
How can I get back to my course outline to see my overall progress?
Close to the top of the screen, you will see a file progression line. At anytime, you can click the title of the course just to the right of Learning> and it will take you back to the Course Home. See the screenshot below.
Does the eBook need a green checkmark next to it?
No. On the "Course Home" page, the only item that does not require a checkmark for course completion is the eBook.
