ACLM honors the privacy of our members and online visitors. We only collect the information you choose to give us. We process this information with your consent and legally required minimum amount necessary to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us. We do not sell information to third parties. No matter your location or country of origin, we provide the same standard of privacy protection to all users globally.

ACLM produces copyrighted public materials with generous use terms as well as member-only materials that carry a strenuously limited term of use.

ACLM specifically creates open-access support materials that include patient education flyers, select webinars, and even some curriculum materials, so visionaries like you may advance the practice of Lifestyle Medicine.

Full use and replication of public materials is offered free of charge. Consent for use of Public materials are good for one year from January 1, 2021.  Public materials may not be altered and must include ACLM logo, branding, copyright mark and website language.

Public materials are intended to augment medical advice, not replace it. Any public material downloaded from the ACLM website should be delivered in conjunction with medical supervision. There may be information on our downloadable public materials that contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions. We reserve the right to make corrections and update information without prior notice. That said, you are responsible for updating any content that you provide or link to within this term of use.

ACLM members have exclusive and password-protected access to a variety of additional tools and resources. These member-only materials reside behind our member-only portal ( and require registered (sign-in) access.  Member-only materials include Lifestyle Medicine assessment forms, PowerPoint presentations, reimbursement resources, and some pediatric tools. Active ACLM members may view, download, or print out single copies of these materials for personal use with patients, plus scholarly or educational use. You may not sell, republish, or systematically distribute any materials found on the members-only portal of our website. This means that you may not reproduce, distribute, publish, display (on your website or social media platforms), perform, modify, create derivative works, transmit, or in any way exploit any part of these member-only materials.

ACLM reserves the right to add to or remove public materials as well as member-only materials, or to otherwise modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or part of the materials without advance notice at any time. As a condition of your access and use of ACLM materials, you agree not to use tools and resources for any purpose that is unlawful or inconsistent with the mission of advancing Lifestyle Medicine.

As an independent medical professional association representing the diverse interests of all our members in the provision of Lifestyle Medicine education, practice support and advocacy, ACLM is not responsible to any religious, political or industry interest.

ACLM’s Dietary Position Statement:
For the treatment, reversal and prevention of lifestyle-related chronic disease, ACLM recommends an eating plan based predominantly on a variety of minimally processed vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds.
